This seminar is for the international Ph.D. students and Postdocs who are aiming for employment in Japanese industry or academic positions.

Tomonori FUKASAWA, the president of Emerging Technologies Corporation, has devoted himself to supporting career development specifically for PhD students/postdocs/researchers. He and his company contribute to matching those PhDs and PhD students with companies and research institutes. They have a broad network of companies that are eager to fully utilize their excellent capacity for research and development.
He has made efforts to develop original career support services such as “Ph.D. AGENT” and “Ph.D.-engine wakate” altogether with 9,000+ users. He is also continuously engaged in projects brought out from universities as well as MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology) on PhD career development including internship, job search and one-to-one career consultation for PhD students/postdocs/researchers. He has been active in cultivating high-skilled personnel with a holistic insight among industry-academic-government.
