This seminar is for international researchers (DC, PD).
Seminar will be conducted in English.
Come and join the I-HoP’s program for international DC and PD researchers, PhD Lunch Talk. We will invite guest speakers from industry, academia, government or other organizations to discuss about their career, life, or special topics which may be stimulus for international PhD researchers in Japan. Registration is required because we will provide lunch for all the attendees.
PhD Lunch Talk
- Career in IT Venture Company
PhD Lunch Talk is a casual seminar in which you will listen to the life story of international talents who are currently working in Japan. For the first time in our history, we are inviting the president of an IT venture company in Sapporo who is Japanese and is employing many international employees for his company. He will explain why he is hiring international talents and his expectation to their performance inasmuch as a short introduction of his exciting company. His talk will be followed by two of his international employees who will talk about their career stories and a life in a Japanese company. Complementary lunch, as usual, will be served. For a talk by the president which will be given in Japanese, consecutive English translation will be provided by one of the guest speakers.

海外からの博士課程学生、ポスドクのみなさんのためのセミナーシリーズ「PhD Lunch Talk」では、企業や政府、各種団体などからのゲストをお招きし、キャリアやライフストーリー、その他いろいろな、日本に暮らす海外からの研究者にとって刺激になるようなお話しをしていただきます。簡単な昼食を提供しますので、必ず登録のうえ参加ください。

坪井 大輔氏
代表取締役
小樽商科大学大学院アントレプレナーシップ専攻MBA取得。
ソフトウェア開発会社でシステムエンジニアとして開発経験を積んだ後、
株式会社スタッフアイへ入社し札幌支社長就任。
2009年に当社の前身アイテック北海道を設立。
2017年9月より北海道科学大学客員教授を兼任。

自社開発パッケージシステムやブロックチェーンの研究開発に携わるテクニカルシニアスペシャリスト
来日前はベルギー銀行でエンジニアとして従事、来日後は、ベルギービールの飲食店経営を経験後、INDETAILへ入社
Amaury Duval（デュバル・アモリ）氏
ソーシャルゲーム開発やブロックチェーンの研修開発に携わるテクニカルエンジニア
2013年に北海道大学大学院情報科学研究科への交換留学で来日。留学終了後、サルフォード大学院を卒業して、再び2015年4月に再び北海道大学大学院情報科学研究科の研究生として入学。パートタイム勤務と並行しながら勉学に励んだ後、INDETAILへ入社
