【HoP-Station】The event Fostering Innovative Human Resources Based on 'Design Thinking' will be held. ( 2013/10/28 )

HoP-Station will conduct the career management seminar (lecture).
The event Fostering Innovative Human Resources Based on 'Design Thinking': Ethnography & Open Innovation will be conducted.

The theme of the lecture is the fostering of innovation and 'design thinking' by researchers involved in developing human resources.
In addition to being an important factor for fostering innovation, the 'design thinking' approach is coming under the spotlight as a new methodology for fostering researchers.
The fostering of innovative new human resources will be discussed based on cases observed at the Palo Alto Research Center, which has practiced this methodology in the United States.

Date and Time: Nov. 19 (Tue.), 2013 10:30 - 12:00
Place: Multipurpose Room W109 in the Bioscience and Biotechnology Building 1F of the School of Agriculture
Eligibility: DC students, PDs and faculty members - Part of the FD program of the Graduate School of Agriculture

L-Station has started the FY 2013 2nd Tenure-Track International Open Call. (The application deadline is Oct. 29, 2013.)

- Hokkaido University is publicly seeking excellent young researchers for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Candidates must be qualified to be global leaders of the next generation in basic interdisciplinary research areas.
- The tenure-track system screening test of our university will evaluates the candidate's comprehensive abilities as a leader (planning ability, organizational ability, initiative, analytical capability, internationality, etc.) as well as research capability.
- After taking a tenure-track post, he/she will be provided with an autonomous research environment as well as being required to actively participate in leadership training programs.
